Riding Together

Posted by Noah under: Uncategorized.

Hello Reno athletes:

Short Version:
Check out www.RenoRidez.com, a cool new resource for Reno area athletes.

Long version:
This e-mail is being sent to inform you about www.RenoRidez.com. RenoRidez is
a calendar where rides, runs, tri training, etc. can be posted. Anyone can post
a ride, and once a ride is posted others can sign up for the ride. Comments and
photos of the event can also be posted to the calendar.
The main goal of setting this calendar up is to bring people together to train.
A wise old cyclist told me early on “You only get stronger training with
stronger cyclist!” This is true for any sport, and training with a group is
much more enjoyable than training alone. I used a similar calendar when I moved
to Vegas, and was able to meet up with a ton of nice like minded people. I hope
the same will happen here in Reno.
So give it a try, IT’S FREE!!!! There is no cost to join, and no
advertising, thanks to tech savvy friends. Not a lot of routes are listed as of
yet, but you can help with this by downloading routes to Garmin.com using their
Dashboard feature, and then just send them to us admin@renoridez.com.

Keep the rubber side down,
