I have been riding in Reno now for about 2 years and I just thought that maybe the Reno Bike Project could create some type of education program to encourage all cyclists to learn the rules of the road for sharing the road as well. Not a week goes by that I am not sitting at a light (on my bike) waiting for it to change and some jackass cyclist without a helmet rides through the light right past me. We have an obligation to follow the traffic laws as well and as can be deduced from this article, cycling in Reno is not going to become any easier.
