Dan’s Night Free Workshop

Posted by Kyle under: Uncategorized .

Hi All,

Come on down the the Bike Project tonight for Dan’s Night: an evening of bike fixing.
Bring your bike, whether old and dusty or new and shiny, to take care of those nagging squeaks, clunks, and skips that developed during its winter hibernation.
Was your steed ridden hard and put away wet?  Cool, we can fix it up.  Have you avoided riding ’cause it just won’t stay in gear?  Cool, we can adjust it.  Got some new parts for the holidays that you’ve been meaning to put on but don’t have the right tools?  Cool, we’ll show you how to use ‘em.  Bike just plain broke?  Cool, we’ll help you dig through the bins of used stuff and sell you the parts cheap.
We’ll be here from 6 to 8 every Wednesday to answer questions and help out.
This workshop is free and open to the public.
Make my night your night tonight.

This is perfect! I recently began commuting full-time in Las Vegas and will be up in Reno for the next two years at UNR Med., I look forward to coming down to your clinic and tinkering with my commuter bike! Awesome website and mission!

Hi. I have an older (70s) schwinn varsity 12 spead that needs a fair amount of work. I bought it with thought to learn to fix it up. It needs at least one new wheal, cable and housing for brakes and gearing and probable other things. Is this too much of a ‘problem’ bike for this workshop or is my shwinn fixer upper welcome to Dan’s night? Thanks!

Hello, I was just looking for a place to get my bikes repaired and I came across this blog. If you are still doing this I would love to drop by.
